Red Scorpion Mega Distortion 2
Red Scorpion Mega Distortion 2 is a high gain distortion pedal. The box has a massive amount of distortion, but at the same time each note sounds clean and crisp. This is why the Red Scorpion is perfect for heavy rhythm and killer solo parts.
Compared to all other high gain pedals on the market, the Red Scorpion is not ear piercing, even at maximum distortion the pedal always keeps its singing tone and endless sustain. The pedal is specifically designed for different heavy music styles, such as, metal rock, hard rock, nu metal, epic rock, and many others.
The unique adjustment capabilities also allow the pedal to be used in other popular music styles, for example, pop music, classic rock; etc. Red Scorpion pedal features a very flexible 3-way passive equalizer and a toggle tone switch which differentiates between the aggressive or soft and melodious tone.
The Red Scorpion is true bypass with very little noise. We did not use any noise gate in the schematic and it is unbelievable how quiet this pedal is, even at max gain. If you want a killer pedal what could blow a roof off and stay truly melodic and versatile at the same time, you want the Red Scorpion Mega Distortion 2.
